* Oral and written proficiency in English and the target language(s).
* At least one year of experience interpreting within the medical
industry.
* All candidates must have U.S. citizenship or possess a valid
work permit.
* All candidates must pass a criminal background check prior to
hiring.
* Excellent customer service skills. The ability to interact with
people of different cultures, religious beliefs, educational levels,
and socioeconomic groups.
Telephone Interpreters must have a landline
phone. Privacy Guard or other call screening technology is not
permitted.
On-site Interpreters must have a driver's license
and a reliable, insured vehicle.
